Someone on my facetube list posted a picture taken from the Bridge over Leith St into the St James Centre, which reminded me that, unlike the St James Centre itself, which is pretty much entirely devoid of redeeming features, the bridge looks quite impressive in a Bladerunner kind of way. Of topical note, the building on the left is the headquarters of RockStar games, whose 'Grand Theft Auto' series shows that Edinburgh can make things, provided they run on Play Stations and not rails...
