Sculpture at the Rococo palace of Trier

The Kurfürstliches Palais in Trier is a large Rococo palace – one of the most magnificent examples in the world. It was built in its current form between 1756 and 1762 by Johannes Seiz as the home of Archbishop Johann Philipp von Walderdorff. It has had many guises over the years. Most notable features are the sculptures of mythological figures and angels.
