FAB Virgil

Perhaps the most famous mosaic on display at the Bardo is this one of the poet Virgil. It depicts Virgil writing the VIII verse of the Aeneid while being inspired by the muses, Clio and Melpomene.

It was discovered in a third century AD house in Sousse (Hadrumetum).
