brown & blue quilt block
Here is the first block of one of my quilts. I have decided that each block will have 4 stipes and a row of 3 squares. I'm not certain how it happened but some of our actual clothing "accidentally" fell into the pile of blue, beige and brown fabrics! I left the buttons on from one of my shirts! Looks neat. This will be the first non-art or "picture" quilt that I make. I have been wanting to make a big scrappy type quilt for a while. I think I will hand-tie knots for the quilting to make it look older. I'm excited!
