March Blocks - Batik Jewel Squares

Here are some samples of March's quilt blocks for the Hip 2 Be Square quilting bee! I was inspired by a Kaffe Fassett quilt and wanted to make my own interpretation.

 

I used a combination of batik fabrics and ultra-colorful fabrics. To keep piecing simple, all blocks are in one of these sizes: 12.5 inches, 9.5 inches, 6.5 inches or 3.5 inches square. Happy sewing!
