March - Gee's Bend Blocks (2 and 3 of 3)

These blocks were made for the Hip to Bee Square quilting bee. We were requested to make freestyle quilt blocks inspired by the quilts of Gee's Bend. We were also requested to add non-quilting fabric, so I included scraps of red leaf-print damask fabric and some light-green linen.

 

The blocks were a lot of fun to make!
