Child's Oilcloth Art Smock

This oilcloth kid's art smock was made using the pattern from the book One Yard Wonders. It was surprisingly easy to make, and the store-bought binding made everything go quickly. I did increase the length and armhole size a little.

Best of all, the fabric and notions were all leftovers from other projects! You can see that I ran out of the navy blue binding, so I made the neck ties with medium blue binding. The oilcloth was not particularly difficult to work with, and it provides a washable surface for those messy art projects.
