TWO GREAT HORNED OWLS FULL HOOTS TUCSON, ARIZONA
Here are two Great Horned Owls on the same tree branch.
This video is approximately 16 seconds long and was taken on March 19, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona.
Based upon this and other videos, I think the male is the one on the right, better hidden. This is the one with the lower pitched hoot. As I have heard many times, his full hoot is typically 4 hoots.
I think these are the same two owls that I have seen here over the past several weeks, though not everyday. Unlike what I have usually heard from these 2 owls, in this video, the female is hooting first.
