ARIZONA RANGERS LAPEL PINS

Click on the pic for a larger view.

Here are some lapel pins from the Arizona Rangers.

The top 2 are plastic pins. They appear to be tiny photos of the badge attached from the back of a thick piece of plastic with a pin added on the back. The pin at left has a black outline on the outside border and it's a bit larger than the other one.

The 4 pins in the center are all metal. The all silver colored one at far left represents the first style of star worn in the early 1900s. The one next to that has the style of the immediate past issue badge. The next two show the current style badge and the one at far right is slightly smaller than the one next to it.

The bottom left and bottom right are pinback buttons and the one at right with black background is actually made using a sticker.

The large metal star in the center of the bottom row is custom made. The star points are from a small metal badge from another agency and the center seal is glued on to the tiny badge. This badge measures 1 7/8 inches wide and its style sort of resembles the current issue badge. It's a bit large for a lapel pin but is smaller than the current issue star badge.
