CANADIAN NATIONAL RAILROAD POLICE 3 COINS
Click on the pic for a larger view.
Here are three challenge coins from the Canadian National Railroad Police.
Each of these 3 coins uses the same design on one side - the seal or logo from the CN Police. This design is used on the hat badges, breast badges and door decals in Canada.
The CN Police agency also operates in the United States, and officers there have a different design for their insignia.
Because these coins are for the higher ranks, both sides are gold colored. There is another picture here on Flickr - you can find it in my Railroad album - of the coin with the rank of Constable on it, and this lower ranking coin is silver colored.
I believe the side of the coin showing the ranks, shows what the wallet badge looks like - a shield shaped design. Other Canadian police agencies use a shield shaped design for their wallet badges. These wallet badges will typically have the person's badge or regimental number on them.
There is at least one more similar coin -
STILL NEED the coin with the rank of Chief on it.
The CN - Canadian National - and the CP - Canadian Pacific, are the two major freight railroads in Canada. Anyone who has traveled to Canada has likely seen trains from one or both of these railroads.
I collect insignia items from the CN and the CP, so if you have anything available - patches, badges, pins, uniforms, hats, coins, etc. - feel free to leave a comment below and I will contact you.
