Here is a pic of the hat worn by lower ranks of An Garda Síochána (commonly referred to as merely Garda), the Irish Police force.
All police officers in Ireland belong to Garda - there is one police agency for the whole country.
The center of the badge has the letters GS intertwined.
I am still looking for one of their high visibility green jackets.
