Today's history tidbit celebrates the birth date of Thomas Edison, inventor, best known for the invention of the incandescent light bulb but a very prolific inventor who changed the face of the U.S. and the world. AK is going green (of course!) and hold a compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL) which will save about $30 over its lifetime and pay for itself in about 6 months time.
