This new librairy in Marseille was designed by the architect Adrien Fainsilber. It replaces L'Alcazar, a famous concert and comedy venue in Marseille. Only the monumental door and the "marquise" that shelters it, were preserved from the old building. The front of the building is made of sandwich panels : a sheet of glasse, a thiun slice of white marble and a second sheet of glass.
