Versailles before the great wind storms.Old trees, neglected groves and buried fountains. It was magical and I used to walk my teenage blues under trees vaults. the first storm in1994 pulled down most of the old trees in "bosquets" and the big one (1999) finished the job. Today most of it is restored with young trees, but...

That day it snowed for the night and I ran as early as possible to the park with my new so expensive jewel, a nikon FE with a 50mm lens.But it was so cold (around -10°C) that the cell collapsed and I had to shoot only with the 1/90 s mecanical speed as my fingers and feet were slowly freezing.
