Singra Koma Campsite
Singra Koma Campsite is a place where we camped on Day 2 and Day 6 of Trek. The Zanskar River makes a U bend at this locations. The Day 2 of the trek was cloudy and witnessed heavy snowfall while the Day 6 was clear, sunny, cold and windy.
The Chadar Trek is more of a dream rather than a trek. The place is magical and changes colors every day. On this picture the Chadar is hard ice with mild blue colors in the melted section. The Rocks are high and dry and the sky is as blue as it gets. We experienced close to -15°C at night and add to that the windchill.
