NSUI 07/10/2009 .

NSill strongly condemns the propaganda campaign of the AISA led illegal JNUSU and other left organizations in the name of fee hike, subsidy cuts and user charges. The propaganda machinery of the left is churning out bundle of lies to divert the attention of the student communily from. its failure to faci litatc adequate infrastructure in this campus_ For past many years the st1.1dcnt community of this campus is buried beneath the avalanche of left led JNUSU's inadequacies_ And every time the left lime led JNUSU has failed to uphold student community's aspirations .

.

and has only betrayed their interests in front of administration_ The failure of AISA led illegal JNUSU was yet .

.

again evident in the last agitation for health facilities where they were satisfied by assurances and a single ambulance and a temporary doctor. While the agitation was started with a demand for a full fledged 24x7 .

health centre, ambulances and doctors they were gratified by the assurances of tbe administration. The same Stalini~t administration which is diverting funds for needless constructions, beautification of the campus, and .

unnecessary purchasing to fatten up its pocket and is reiterating again and again that there are no adequate funds for student's welfare_ NSUI strongly condemns such unholy nexus between the JNUSU and the corrupt administration .

\.Vhich has been always at the forefront to betray student community's aspirations and interests_ .

Friends, NSUI strongly opposes any kind of fee hike and subsidy cuts in this campus. As part of this resistance discussion with him over the alleged "fee hike,.

vt:!sterday a delegation of NSUI met the Rector and had a subsidy cut. and user charges". The Rector made it very clear that there is no such move from the .

administration's side since JNU is known for its socially inclusive nature. He also clarified to us that such proposals from MHRD comes every year and it is advisory in nature rather than a directive. Therefore JNU being an autonomous institute has tJ1e full authority to implement or reject such proposals. So it was very clear that the administration is not going to take any such anti student anti education policies. We strongly warn the .

administration to retain the socially inclusive nature of this campus and ~ny dcvstrongly confronted by us. But then why the AISA led illegal JNUSU and its other left stooges, "official and unofficial", are perpetrating .

such blatant lies and misguiding the student community. And the million dollar question which arises at this point is that wby our self proclaimed messiahs of this campus suddenly·stopped the hunger strike without any fruitful accomplishment and suddenly jumped into an agitation against a proposal. Why are they misguiding the student community by exaggerating a proposal rather focusing on the perennial issues of this campus? Why did they leave such a crucial agitation in midway and compromised their radicnl stance for a mere assurance? The answer to these questions points towards the ideological bankruptcy of the juvenile comrades of th:js campus. The little Stalinists of our campus want to divert the student c-ommunity's attention from their failures and inefficiencies and are unnecessarily attacking the UPA government to conceal its unholy alliance with the .

administration. NSUI strongly warns the illegal JNUSU to restrain from such vicious propaganda and cease to .

'· .

misdirect the student conununity of this campus for their cheap political benefits_ Friends, we have realized that the left politics of this campus has completely failed to materialize student's welfare and has turned the JNUSU into a propaganda machine to disseminate their venomous redundant ideology_ As their .
