F ill vacant OBC seats from general category .

.

This is not said by Youth For Equality but by the Supreme Court of India. Making it clear that not a single seat must r.emain vacant, the Supreme Court on 14th October 08 directed all Central educational ins~itutions (CEls) to fill the vacant seats in Other Backward Classes category from among the general category candidates by October .

31. This year's admission process in JNU was messy and unclear. A new category was created in the name of 'waiting list' and their wait was never addressed judiciously but by the whim and fancy of the administration. JNU has admitted that 29 seats meant for the_OBC category remained vacant. Now the court order is clear and it must be filled with able general category students before the end of the month of October 08. No politicking is allowed but the implementation of Supreme Court order. .

At this hour it is pertinent how Youth For Eqt!3lity struggled with the Union of lndla and with all political parties with steely determination. It may inspire many Ph.D. thesis how YFE stood against all political parties and prevailed as well. .

These poor doctors have no one but their stars to thank for the fact that the demonous spout missed their throats and necks or else they would have have had to pay with their lives for the folly of legitimately demonstrating for their rightful demands. hang its head in shame. The powder was on the-barrel. Only a flick was necessary to conflagrate the struggle .

against the illogical policy of the Government. A leadership was required during the month of May in 2006 to lead .

seri~s of face off with the state managed police ,AIIMS students decided to sit on hunger strike on 13th of May and .

then the rest was history. .
