The rules enshrined in the JNUSU constitution have proved its ability to ensure free, fair, regular and democratic elections in JNU over the past four decades. This track record stands in stark contrast with that of the Lyngdoh Committee recommendations, which have completely failed to free student union elections from money and muscle power or to increase democratic student participation in the election process wherever they have been implemented. .
In this moment of crisis, we on behalf of the aggrieved student community, request you to intervene in the matter and provide relief in defending and strengthening what is one of the best democratic institutions in our country. .
