AISA-Ied JNUSU: Some Key Achievements .
' Over the past year, the AI SA-led JNUSU meticulously pursued the issues on the Charter of Demands, ensured substantial gains in students' rights and facilities, and at the same time, forged links and solidarities with people's struggles against draconian laws, big corporates and attacks on campus democracy We invite the student community to take a look at the campus level achievements and the course of the JNU student movement over the past year .
Getting JNUSU's proposal for elected student representation to AC and BoS passed through .
JNU AC and EC and protesting again·st the HRD Ministry's delay in approving it; .
Ensuring Increase of MCM amount for BA students, extension of MCM to MPhii/MTech/MCA .
students and increase in 'Earn While You Learn' Posts; .
Forcing JNU Admin. to reconstitute and revive Harjit Singh Committee set up to enquire into .
communal violence by ABVP lumpens during SAR Geelani's visit on 17 August 2004; .

Pursuing and Ensuring Extra Rail Reservation Window exclusively for students in rush .

Demanding and ensuring 7 New Exam Centres including Aizawl, Agartala, Gulbarga, Bareilly, New Jalpaiguri, and Admin. agreement for an exam centre in Islamabad subject to Govt. clearance and feasibility. .
Ensuring Improved Health Centre Facilities: appointment of gynaecologist; agreement that JNU Admin . will send a proposal for more funds and staff to the UGC in order to provide expanded emergency health facilities at the Health Centre; also that JNU Admin. will pursue medical group insurance for emergency hospitalisation charges for students at a nominal .
