Tunic: M1908 Waffenrock mit Stehkragen with white piping. The fieldgrey tunic featured fieldgrey shoulder straps with a crowned N and II.

Accoutrements: Taschenlampe, breadbag, water bottle and beaker

 

Buckle: open type for mounted troops

 

Ammunition pouches: cavalry type (M1909 style)

 

Armament: Kar98 and a Kavalleriedegen M1889

 

Remark: notice the spurs. these men are not yet acting as dismounted cavalry as would happen later during the way
