Rockly Engine House

by Qasim Massey

These were shot in April 2013; this is the derelict ruins of Rockley engine house in Barnsley, South Yorkshire UK.

The inside is completely gone and all that remains is are the outer walls.

I did think this was a blacksmiths forge but research shows that it was actually an engine house used for a pumping engine to keep the local iron mine dry.

See www.topforge.co.uk/Other%20Prop.htm for more information.
