At the Grotto in Turtle Crossing Park in Paprihaven, it is the annual Christmas in the Park! Pastor Charles Calvin is preaching about the greatest gift of all, seen in John 3:16.

 

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

 

I trust you have seen that this is not only the greatest Christmas gift, but this is what Christmas is about. Christmas is about Christ. The gift of God from God to save us. The gift of Christ Jesus that He would bear our sin in our place to save us. Our wound is healed by the wounded healer. No greater love could ever be shown, no greater gift could ever be given.

 

Please join me in prayer. Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Son. Lord Jesus, we thank You for loving us to do this work of salvation for us. Spirit, we thank you for the spiritual life and guidance we receive. Amen.
