How nice to receive holiday mail from those dear to us. Much more than an electronic missive, these letters and packages have that tactile delight of being opened, like a treasure being uncovered.

 

Each handwritten message is a genuine gesture of love, care, and affection. Letters from loved ones are often a delightful stew of emotions beautifully knitted in words. Good news is cherished and even bad news is appreciated for the bond as their heart is poured out to you.

 

Each letter presents precious moments captured and they are often carefully stored away until, years, perhaps even many decades later, they are reopened and read once again with an even more powerful effect.

 

This Christmas season, certainly text and email, but also deliver that wonderful gift of a letter or package. It will be the far more treasured correspondence.
