Saturday night cruising in Paprihaven as the VFW (Vetterans against Foreign Wheels) has commandeered the Market Street Chevron.
After briefly viewing and tossing a few compliments at Ami Řezník's '76 Greenwood,* Dusty De Lorenzo has his prized gold flake Gas Monkey custom center stage.
"Dusty, for a man who's 'not keen on customs', you really went all out here."
"Well, Ami, I'm a purist. I believe this '68 Stingray body can't be improved upon."
"So, you cut a hole in the hood and stuck in a new engine?"
"Ami, my friend, I'm just accentuating the perfection."
That didn't really make sense and Ami isn't buying it. Still, he has to admit, the Gas Monkey Stingray is a beaut.
