Paprihaven 1530
There is nothing quite like Boop's Scoops during its busy times. Of course the primary reason to select Boop's from among the myriad of dining choices in Paprihaven is the food. But, especially when it is busy, (And Boop's has well earned its nickname of 'the hoppingest place in town'), the atmosphere is thrilling.
The jukebox is rarely quiet. There is the rather loud level of conversations punctuated here and there by even louder bursts of laughter and applause. There are the clatter of shoes and cries of delight from the dance floor. Boop's Scoops is simply a happy place to be.
Derrick: -so RC* should be here pretty soon. Don't know if we'll be able to squeeze him in the booth here.
Cloe: I heard him say he's with Shasta** tonight so they'll probably want to be all romancy anyway. At least I hope so. I hope Ronnie's over that terrible Carol girl.***
Maisie: Oh, RC and Shasta are just meant to be together, I just know it!
Vince: Like me and Helen!**** Say, Cloe, we gotta get our feed trough goin here. Took forever ta get a table, and we gotta be back at the barracks in just a little over an hour!
Cloe: I know, it's so busy, you know how it is. What do you guys want? I'll get the order in for you and see if I can't push it up the priority queue.
Vince: Haw! You're a doll, Cloe! Grape's had his ugly mug buried in the menu so let him order first!
