Gorden's porch
Back in the 80's, Cavan County Council had a scheme where they installed internal toilets into houses that hadn't any. This was one of those houses. Some months after the toilet was installed my mother called by Mrs. Gorden to see how she was getting on. She asked what Mrs. Gorden thought of the new addition. Mrs. Gorden said it was a great help...now that she didn't have to go to the well for the water anymore.
