Nealon's
Capel Street, Dublin. Formally known as Handel's. This used to be a big hang-out place for those of use who had the pleasure and the privilege of passing through the hallowed corridors of Bolton Street DIT. It's changed a good bit since then; they've modified the ground floor bar layout, added a first floor room that you can reserve for occasions and Molly, the resident dog, has popped her clogs. Shame they've never done anything about the God awful stench of urine that eminates from the ground floor jacks while they were at it. Still, it's a great spot in the winter because they always have a roaring fire on to heat the bones, and they do a mean hot-whiskey to boot. Chen the Chinese barman, the personification of a gent, pulls pints with the best of them. See large
