Dining Room
In the Radisson SAS Hotel, Stillorgan, Dublin.
Designed by Sir Thomas Cooley, in 1750 on a beautiful site overlooking Dublin Bay. It was originally a stately house which called ‘Seamount’. This property was later purchased by Viscount Gough who renamed it St. Helen’s. This is a lovely room opening out to the formal gardens to the rear of the hotel. They were actually going to demolish this place in the 80's...thankfully sense prevailed. See another building designed by Cooley here
