Holocaust Memorial Detail

Near the Brandenburg Gate at Cora-Berliner-Straße 1 Berlin, by Peter Eisenman

A wonderful project to my mind...it gets a lot of grief for being cold and relentless but I think it's amazing and would gladly stroll around it for hours. One of the few instances I've seen where art and architecture really work hand in hand. It's got such a graphic quality to it, especially when seen in the strong sunlight. There's a very beautiful subterranian visitor center underneath a corner of the scheme that is well worth the visit. This is a B+W detail version of this photo
