Thanks for dropping by.
As always, your comments, faves, follows and feedback are much appreciated!
We were in London for a recording of Dave Gorman’s “Modern Life is Goodish” TV Show. As it was being recorded on a Sunday evening we were somewhat bowled over to find we could get a room in a Travelodge for £25!!!!!!
Blow the expense!!!
We went for the Saturday night as well which was a bit more expensive.
This allowed us to have a photo safari around the capital. Gay Pride was taking place and after we had seen some of the parade we wandered around China Town.
Americans, I believe calls them “Porta Potties”, we call ‘em “Smelly and not going to use unless we have to”
We found this red Telephone Box tucked in between 4 of these contraptions.
People were wondering what we were photographing.
It would have been wonderful if someone had been making a phone call but in these days of Mobile Technology, we would have waited an awfully long time.
Paula and I live in Derbyshire, which apparently has a higher number of Red Telephone Boxes than in other counties.
We are planning a route around the Countryside to document them.
Please leave a comment if you would like a print of this, or any other photos in our photostream.
Cheers
Paula and Martin
