little red book
It is the start of a new day, and the end of a project.
The little red book has traveled across the ocean and state borders. It has been on countless road trips through country towns and cities. It has been shared with the world, and has brought the world to me.
I started the project with the intention to honour each and every day ... It has spoken to sorrow with tear stained eyes, it has sung to joy with a flutter within it's heart. It has breathed with hope and sighed with despair. There are pages of whimsy, pages of serious content, leaves of lightness and leaves of darkness.
It has shared my happiest days and my saddest days. In moments of introversion it holds what was closest in my heart ... in moments of extraversion it has shared a moment from each of the past 365 days. It's spine may be broken, but the spirit that rests within remains strong ... from book end to book end ... this has been my little red book.
The title for each posting has been based on the day in swedish numbers ... and before anyone asks, I plan to give projects of this magnitude a rest for a while ... :) For a detailed look at this 365 day project please visit the little red book
