1303_1475 Planetree bark
Planetree bark - probably London Planetree, which is a hybrid cross between Oriental Planetree (Platanus orientalis) and American Sycamore (Platanus occidentalis). But this photo is all about texture, colour, and shape, not species I.D. (I shot stock for so long that sometimes I find it hard to step outside of naming the subject precisely.) From a rainy day walk in Beacon Hill Park, Victoria, British Columbia.
