2311_2669 River Ice #2

Getting fairly abstract here. We're looking down into a depression in the river ice, probably a hole that was draining water and then closed up. But this one isn't really about ice shapes, but rather the shapes of the colourful reflections on the ice surface.

Macro lens, small aperture, low ISO setting, tripod, cable release.

Photographed on the Frenchman River in Grasslands National Park, Saskatchewan (Canada). Don't use this image on websites, blogs, or other media without explicit permission ©2023 James R. Page - all rights reserved.
