Really wanted to focus on composition and lighting here. I already had a great choice of subject matter (we have about half a library worth of books in this house!)
In the end I had to burn out the background (plus some other adjustments), which was showing up because I had to use an ordinary lamp to light this shot. I swear, my photography wish list grows every day...
Anyway, I'm pleased with the shot, and "ooh... .ahhh" comments from members of the house can't mean it's too bad. =)
