Mono Lake, Ca - Crayons from outer space.

But what to wondering eyes should appear...

A moon.

This image was taken a few months back... I'm finally getting to go thru the wall of images that I've been stacking up. I've been busy in nature. I view my computer as the enemy some days, that thing that takes me away from moments like this, day in and day out, you know.... it takes only but to BE there to see it. But NOW, when I have so many images to sift thru...I view my computer as a friend. Granted, unforgiving at times, he's quite the miracle maker. Often helping me show you exactly what I've seen. I stood in front of this moon, floating, along the water line of mono lake, in pure amazement. You couldn't wipe the smile from my face, trust me. Gazing wide eyed, in between 20 second mirror flips, at this strange sphere in the sky, the lake literally painted with temporary crayons from outer space. Perhaps I would have another image or two, if I could only pull myself away from its enticing beauty. "CLICK" my shutter just went off. I took two trips to the eastern sierra's in late 2009, for the fall foliage. I felt like I was at a photographer’s convention at this location... geshhh. Must be a popular place. I can't imagine why. HA!
