Female Scorpion Fly 01

Finally got round to sorting out these shots from last year. They were taken at Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve in Norfolk.

 

This is a female scorpion fly, they differ from the male and lack the scorpion like tail.

 

This female was snacking on an unfortunate damselfly that had been caught in a spider web.
