Crab Orchard & Egyptian's former MoPac SW1200 #1136 rolls east at Marion, IL with a tank car retrieved from the BNSF interchange a couple miles west of this location. After delivering the car to a local industry, the crew will take 1136 back west to pick up a long cut of two-bay hoppers from Southern Illinois Railcar, located at the end of the line in Carterville.
Nice to see this unique shortline operating on such a nice day. It has taken me a couple years to catch up with them.
