Refuge

The west coast of Tasmania can be a very hostile place, subjected directly to the "roaring forties" gales with uninterrupted fetches stretching thousands of kilometres towards South America. Couta Rocks provides a small haven of sorts for the few remaining fishers who continue to make a living from the sea in this area. I was blessed to see it like this!
