The Oxfordshire Museum
A regional museum covering the county of Oxfordshire.
The museum features collections of local history, art, archaeology, the landscape and wildlife relating both to the county of Oxfordshire and to the town of Woodstock.
The museum is run by Oxfordshire County Council and is located in a large historic house, Fletcher’s House, in the centre of Woodstock.

Morland Brewery
Morland is a famous old British brewer, that was founded in 1799, eighty-eight years after English farmer John Morland started brewing and selling ale and porter from his farm in West Ilsley, Oxfordshire.
In 1979 Morland created Old Speckled Hen. This was one of their most popular beers.
The brewery was located in Abingdon until 2000 when it was sold to Greene King. When Greene King took over all brewing was transferred to the Greene King Brewery in Bury St Edmunds.
