Li River in Flood

2 shot wide horizontal pano stitched in Lightroom. I use this technique all the time for travel. It means I never really need to switch out my 28-300mm lens - just shoot two if you need it wider. Some people will try and tell you that a wide pano gives a different perspective than a wider lens. This is not true. Wider angle lenses just give a wider angle of view - they don't mystically change the arrangement of distances to various objects in the scene, or the angle from which they are viewed. Shoot two shots and joining them also gives a wider field of view - in one dimension usually, unless you want to shoot a whole grid.
