The Still

The body of the still is made from a stainless steel drum and was locally fabricated in Oregon. The drum is shielded and insulated to retain heat while making a run. The condenser vessel is on the platform to the right. The condenser consists of a copper coil that passes through a tank of cool water. A low pressure hose continually feeds cool water into the condenser. The condensed oil and water is then sent to a separator where the oil is collected.
