Overnight Ski Tour with Georgia - Day 1 Chamonix to Trient Hut

Last weekend Georgia and I went on an overnight ski from Chamonix up to Trient Hut (the same as Day 1 of the Haute Route). We had lovely weather and surprisingly good snow for the first day.

It was a big day with about 900m vertical gain (and I ran up a little powder covered slope while gga had rest).

Then we had a lovely night in the Trient hut with a large slice of tart with much black tea for an afternoon snack a 3 course meal for dinner!
