Haute Route Day 1 - Chamonix to Trient Hut

Day 1 of the Haute Route Chamonix-Trient Hut

Andrew and I set off for the Haute route a 6 day ski tour with over 5.5km of vertical gain and about 80kms or so of skiing on the 31/03. 2 days after Andrew got of the plane from Aus and both of us suffering with colds!

Day one is from Chamonix, up the Grands Montets cable car, down to the Argentierre Glacier, up through the Col du Chardonney, rap of the other side, ski and skin around to the Fen du Saleina, then across the Trient Glacier and finally up to the Trient Hut. A total of about 900m vertical gained and it equaled 2 very broken boys!
