Col du Beugeant

After we got back form Zermatt Georgia was keen for some skiing herself so we headed up from Flegere to ski a slightly more technical tour than most 900m vertical gain, 40º+ bootpacking, 100m of belayed scrambling and a 30m abseil and its one of the classic ski tours!

The snow up high was great - packed powder then perfect corn, unfortunately lower down is was lightly crusted isothermic goop. Very hard to ski! And the Berard valley combat skiing was brutal finally resulting in about a 4km walk into town (we skied to the pub 2 weeks ago - there has been a lot of snow lost).
