This isn't as bad as it may look.

Had my second Infliximab infusion this morning at the Royal Newcastle Centre Infusion Lounge. One of the other patients commented that it sounded like we were booked into some hip coffee shop.

 

There was coffee, but it wasn't hip or happening.

 

I took Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy to read, and didn't even open it. There was plenty of talking going on instead with the other people having infusions.

 

I didn't have phenergen (sp?) this time, only Zyrtec and hydrocortizone. But I was still a bit sleepy. Must be having this stuff pumped into me that does it. The other two thought the same thing.

 

Total dose. 500mg in 500ml of saline over 2.5 hours.
