Oshi Builds
World In Darkness | NATO AH-76A Saw-Scale
To complement recent additions to NATO’s ground hardware, modern CAS helicopters to replace their obsolete predecessors have been given increasing priority by aerospace firms. Developed as a multi-role, rapid-deployment gunship, the AH-76A Saw-Scale is one such model. A single-pilot, AI-assisted attack helicopter, the Saw-Scale is optimised for air-to-ground combat: each of its stub wings houses a Wyvern compact rocket launcher system and a single AGM-220 Brimstone missile for strikes against armoured targets, while twin chin-mounted autocannons serve for general use. In conjunction with its lightweight airframe and high manoeuvrability, these aspects make the AH-76A a contender for NATO’s next mass-produced attack helicopter.
--------------------------------------------
The end of my World in Darkness vehicles saga, with the group having shut down just recently. As with my other vehicles, this model didn’t take me long - two days was enough to complete everything except for the top of the body of the helicopter and the rotor blades, which I had to order some parts for off Bricklink. The build is also fairly sturdy, which is always nice. Instructions can be found on Rebrickable: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-237359/Oshi%20Builds/world-in-da....
Once again, thanks to the World in Darkness story leaders for so many years of effort put into the group's contests, collabs and displays.
