Corría el año 1935 cuando Exequiel Bustillo decidió construir un gran hotel en Bariloche para atraer turistas de alto nivel económico al flamante Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi.
Emplazada en un lugar de ensueño, esta soberbia obra de arquitectura fue diseñada por el talentoso arquitecto Alejandro Bustillo, creador de otras importantes obras a nivel nacional como la Rambla, el Hotel Provincial y el Casino de Mar del Plata. Su proyecto fue elegido por concurso al poseer el estilo arquitectónico que más se adecuaba a las características de la región, y no, como muchos pensaron por su parentesco con el primer presidente del directorio de Parques Nacionales.

It was the year 1935 when Exequiel Bustillo decided to build a grand hotel in Bariloche to attract tourists from high economic level to the brand new Nahuel Huapi National Park.
Located in a place of dreams, this magnificent work of architecture was designed by the talented architect Alejandro Bustillo, creator of other important works at the national level as La Rambla, the Provincial Hotel and Casino of Mar del Plata. His project was chosen in a contest to possess the architectural style that is more suited to the characteristics of the region, and not, as many thought their relationship with the first chairman of the Board of National Parks.
