Amtrak train 55 hurries south on the Springfield Line passing some fall color at Emerson Road in Longmeadow, MA. Leading the Vermonter this day was Phase II heritage unit number 130. This locomotive will be swapped for an electric in New Haven for the rest of the trip down the Northeast Corridor to Washington D.C.
