Joyfullness - Árnes, south Iceland

It is highly unusual that I post an image like this but I really liked it and enjoyed shooting it.

On our way home from the highland trip we stopped at this interesting raps flower plantation in the plains of south Iceland.

Some farms in the warmer regions of Iceland have started growing this oily seeded plant. Global warming does not only have down sides. It will greatly benefit Icelandic agriculture.

For us though it provided an interesting foreground with a nice farmhouse in the background. Getting a high vantage point to shoot the interesting field we climbed the short fence pole in the middle of the frame.

In my wife´s usual joyful fashion she decided to have some fun going down from the pole. It ended up being the most interesting shot of this session.
