Midnight Dancer - Aurora at Þingvellir, Iceland
There was some intense Aurora activity this weekend. I finally got some good active Aurora. Things aligned on Saturday night when the Aurora was active, the moon was shining lightly and the weather was good. This has not been the best winter for me shooting Aurora so this night was a welcome change to that. I hope for some more action in the 1-1,5 month that remains of the season.
It had been quite cold and windless the week before so Lake Þingvallavatn had frozen very smooth creating good surface for a reflection.
